Tips

BigCommerce uses V2 and V3 APIs in parallel. Some resources like orders still use the V2 API while products and customers are on V3. The response formats differ between versions. Weldable normalizes this for you, but it helps to know when reviewing raw API responses.

Catalog categories are hierarchical. Products can belong to multiple categories, and categories can nest. When your agent searches by category, be specific about whether you want just the top-level category or all subcategories included.
