Tips

Scope your API token narrowly. Cloudflare API tokens support fine-grained permissions per zone. Create a token that only allows access to the zones and operations your agent will use.

Specify the domain or zone. If you manage multiple domains in Cloudflare, mention which one your request applies to so the agent targets the correct zone.

Double-check DNS changes before confirming. DNS changes propagate quickly through Cloudflare. Ask your agent to show the current record before making updates, so you can verify the change is correct.
