Pull project summaries on demand

Ask your agent to summarize a Smartsheet by counting tasks by status, listing overdue items, or identifying who has the most open work. The agent reads the sheet data and generates a clear summary you can share with stakeholders or post to Slack.

Create rows from external events

When a form submission comes in through Typeform or a new issue is created in GitHub, your agent can add a corresponding row to a Smartsheet tracker. This keeps your project management data in sync with the systems where work actually happens.

How it works

Connect your Smartsheet account to Weldable through the integrations page. Your AI agent can then interact with your sheets using natural language. Tips

Reference sheets by name. When you have many sheets, include the sheet name in your request so the agent targets the correct one. Avoid ambiguous references like "the main sheet" when your workspace has dozens of active sheets.

Use column names, not positions. Smartsheet columns have names. Refer to them explicitly (e.g., "set the Priority column to High") so the agent updates the right field. This is more reliable than referencing columns by their position, which can change when columns are reordered.

Pair with Slack for status updates. Create a Weldable workflow that pulls weekly summaries from Smartsheet and posts them to a project channel. Keep your team informed without scheduling another status meeting. Include overdue task counts and milestone progress for maximum value.
