Webflow MCP Integration

Connect Webflow to your AI agents through Weldable.

Cms

Webflow is a visual web design and CMS platform that lets teams build production websites without writing code. The Webflow MCP integration in Weldable connects your AI agents to your Webflow sites for managing CMS collections, publishing content, and handling site assets through natural language. Update your website content through conversation instead of the Webflow Designer.

Use cases

Populate CMS collections from spreadsheets

Your AI agent can read data from Google Sheets and create corresponding CMS collection items in Webflow. This is useful for bulk-loading product listings, team bios, or portfolio entries. The agent maps spreadsheet columns to collection fields and reports any rows that failed validation.

Audit CMS content for quality

Ask your agent to scan your Webflow CMS collections and flag items with missing fields, images without alt text, or empty descriptions. The agent compiles a report and posts it to Slack so your content team can prioritize fixes.

Publish content and notify your team

When new CMS items are ready, your agent can publish the site and notify your team via Slack or email in a single step. This combines the content update and communication into one command, keeping everyone informed when changes go live.

How it works

Connect your Webflow account to Weldable through the integrations page via OAuth. Your AI agent can then manage your Webflow CMS using natural language. Ask "add a new team member named Sara Chen with the role Engineering Lead" or "list all blog posts in draft status" and the agent handles the Webflow API calls and field resolution.

Tips

Publishing is a separate step. Creating or updating a CMS item does not make it live on your site. Your agent needs to trigger a site publish after content changes. Batch your updates first, then publish once to avoid unnecessary rebuilds.

Use collection and field names in your requests. Webflow organizes content by collections (e.g., "Blog Posts," "Team Members"). Include the collection name and specific field names so the agent targets the right data.

Image fields expect hosted URLs. Webflow CMS image fields accept URLs pointing to publicly accessible images. Your agent cannot upload local files directly to a CMS image field. Use externally hosted URLs or upload to Webflow's asset manager first.
